We will showcase interviews with religious leaders, psychology professors and street interviews with people of diverse cultures and ages, in Toronto, Canada and Belfast, N. Ireland.
A mother and son were inspired to make a documentary film, prompted by the maternal grandparents' return to Belfast from Canada. During their farewell dinner, the grandfather's candid admission of going home to die sparked the duo to explore the decisions individuals make as they approach the end of their lives.
Producer Tracy McMenemy is a multi-disciplinary artist who bridges screenwriting, painting, and photography. She integrates field research, and works with museums through an investigative revealing and retelling of our historic and cultural narratives. Her work is compelled by intensive research and archival documents, images and materials it uncovers.
Director Owen McMenemy-Brown is a multifaceted filmmaker whose lifelong passion for the world of cinema drives both his professional pursuits and personal aspirations. Owen is a knowledgeable freelance film technician and his technical prowess and keen eye for detail has contributed to various projects across genres.
Cinematographer Colin Cameron tells stories that connect with audiences through empathetic and personal visuals. He has earned a CSC award nomination and his films have been featured in festivals worldwide, including Inside Out, NFFTY, Image + Nation and SWIFF. Colin's love for movies, filmmaking, and his home fuel his passion for creating captivating images that leave a lasting impact.
